Christmas Junk Crafting: A 5-Week Creative Upcycling Journey

Turn everyday waste into wonderful works of art!
Join our Junk Crafting course and discover the joy of transforming household items into beautiful, functional crafts. Over five inspiring weeks, you’ll learn hands-on techniques to upcycle, recycle, and reduce waste—while unleashing your creativity and connecting with like-minded makers.

Why join?

  • Boost your wellbeing through mindful, hands-on crafting
  • Learn sustainable skills that help reduce landfill waste
  • Save money by repurposing what you already have
  • Create unique, eco-friendly art from items like jars, fabric scraps, packaging, and more

Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned crafter, this course is a fun, feel-good way to make a difference—one creation at a time.

You can join this course at stage after the start date, each week is a stand alone session.

Please ensure you let the College know at the time of booking if you have any dexterity issues or other concerns around using smaller pieces of equipment. Our crafting sessions often use equipment that may be more challenging to use with dexterity issues (such as pencils, pastels, sewing equipment or paintbrushes) and if informed in advance, we are able to make our sessions fully accessible for those with additional crafting support needs.

Please note – some of the materials used in these sessions may not be able to be taken on to ward environments.

Please note – the activities are the same for each 5 week course.
