What the heck are archives? (16+)

Face to Face Recovery College Courses
Have you ever wondered if you were descended from a knight? or if your family name bears a coat of arms? Archive research can help you find out more about your family and local history.
So if you want to learn what an archive is, look back in time to discover what records survive and how to search your family history, then join us on this workshop delivered by our partners at the West Yorkshire history centre.

This workshop is part of a series being held by the West Yorkshire Archive Service at the West Yorkshire History Centre. Why not check out the whole series and book your places…
How do I enrol?
You are not referred to the Recovery College, you can simply enrol yourself, or on behalf of someone, for any of our courses that may be of interest to you. Our courses are open to all adults and we welcome carers, supporters and professionals too.
