Online Recovery College Courses (18+)

This online course aims to engage people in nature and their local environment, allowing people a distraction from the Covid-19 crisis situation and isolation. It aims to teach people new wildlife gardening skills and boost confidence in virtual group sessions. Students will learn to:

  • Understand he different habitats around us
  • Understand why it is important to take care of our gardens and local green spaces
  • Identify different species that can be found locally
  • Be able to demonstrate how to make various aids for wildlife, including bird feeders, butterfly feeders and acorn pots.

This course will be delivered online but may be considered for face to face sessions to be delivered in the local community once the winter weather improves in the Spring.

This course is offered to you alongside our partner Open Country as part of the NHS Charities Together funding.

This is a roll on roll off course, join for as long as you like over the year period.

How do I enrol?

You are not referred to the Recovery College, you can simply enrol yourself, or on behalf of someone, for any of our courses that may be of interest to you. Our courses are open to all adults and we welcome carers, supporters and professionals too.
